MALIBU,
Sept 5 (Reuters) - Singing sensation Broccoli Spears caused quite a stir today
in the vegetable world by announcing she had merged with Cauliflower.
"I
don't know why people are so shocked," said Spears speaking from her Malibu
home. "We've been paired for quite some time. Our new melody, 'Broccoli and
Cauliflower in Cheese Sauce,' is due to be released this fall."
Said
her publicist of the recent merger, "Although Broccoli has mixed with other
vegetables in the past - Peas, Carrots, and Lima Beans, to name a few - this is
the first time she has been truly happy."
This
latest announcement comes on the heels of her recent admission that she posed
nude for the Farmer's Almanac.
"I
needed the exposure," said Spears.
She
refused to comment on speculation that she and Cauliflower were considering
making this a more permanent arrangement.
